Introduced in 2002, the Mazda6 is a sleek and stylish sedan that’s designed with a slippery, aerodynamic body style, a choice of a few different Skyactiv 4-cyl engines for an EPA rating of 26 mpg city/37 mpg highway. The Mazda6 is loaded with advanced tech features such as regenerative braking, Smart City Brake Support and more, and has made it onto several Best-Of and Top Ten lists in the automotive press over the years. For 2015, the Mazda6 was offered with Sport, Touring and Grand Touring trim levels.
For their price, they are fairly quiet, and I drive them with confidence. The downside is that I have 1 tire that seems to lose pressure at least once a week. I have checked them for nails or any foreign objects, and just determined that the tire did not seal well to the rim. I might move on to a more popular brand to avoid this fitment issue, but the price I got them for tells me not to complain if I have to add air every now and then.

Durable Commuter Tire
I bought these tires because they were the only brand with a decent warranty that SimpleTire said would fit my 2015 Mazda 6. They replaced my Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 tires that had worn out way too quickly. I went into it knowing that these were meant for SUVs. SUV tires usually have a thicker sidewall, which does affect handling. Theoretically this would affect gas mileage as well, but I haven't noticed much of a difference (maybe 1-3mpg).
Going straight, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between these and my previous tires handling-wise. You will notice a decent distinction if you're the type to throw it around corners. Nothing jarring, but they just seem to have a "heavy" feel to them. Living in Arizona, I've only had them in a summer environment. That's mostly dry and hot weather outside of our monsoon season. Grip seemed great in both dry and wet conditions. Knowing that it's a harder compound, I'm cautious about using these in snowy conditions and would suspect that they might suffer when put to the test in the snow.
If you are an owner of an early 3rd Generation Mazda (2013-2016), you know that the noise isolation isn't the best. I was concerned that going from a tire known for its high quality to a brand I hadn't heard of before would be a risk in the noise dept. I'm happy to say that this tire doesn't seem any louder than the Michelins they replaced. I would rate the noise average overall, and is a non-issue.
In summary, these are a good option with a good warranty, for anyone that doesn't throw their vehicle into corners often and for people who don't see heavy snow/ice. It's great to see a company stand behind their product with a higher than average warranty (at least in the segment I shopped in).
