The Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tires receive mixed reviews, with many customers praising their performance and value, while others express concerns about wear and noise.
The Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tires offer good performance and value for many drivers, particularly in dry and wet conditions. They seem well-suited for everyday driving and provide a comfortable ride for most users. However, experiences vary widely regarding tread life and noise levels, with some customers extremely satisfied and others disappointed. Snow and ice performance appears to be a weak point for these tires.
Positive highlights
Excellent handling and traction in various weather conditions. Smooth and comfortable ride quality. Good performance for aggressive cornering and high-speed maneuvers. Great value for the price. Long tread life for some users, with reports of 40,000+ miles. Quiet ride for many customers.
Negative highlights
Some users report fast wear, with tread wearing out as early as 20,000-25,000 miles. Poor performance in snow and ice for some drivers.

These were a great option for me because of the price point. I was initially worried they would be awful due to the price, but I went with them and have been happy with their performance.

Haven't drove them in snow, but, they're amazing through cornering. I've received super awesome results in handling while driving my Nissan Sentra Nismo thanks to them being great quality UHP tiresâ¤ï¸ðŸ˜Œ
They will enhance the engine's performance abilities significantly. Tread wears down at about 3,000-5,000 miles, they're not great if you're expecting something with a long tire life span while engaging in everyday driving.

Bought these tires and replaced a smaller sidewall set of tires that had been worn. These seem fine for my aggressive cornering and high-speed maneuvers around traffic. Price was good!
A high performance, all season tire, the SP Sport 5000 is designed for use on sedans and offers drivers balanced wet and dry performance plus enhanced grip and control.

Today's drivers long for a tire that performs year round, and the SP Sport 5000 from Dunlop was designed to do just that. The SP Sport 5000 features a tread compound that gives drivers enhanced grip, control, and treadwear in a wide variety of driving conditions. A built in Max Flange Shield protects rims from accidental curb damage, making the SP Sport 5000 a common choice for drivers of the Lexus IS, Mazda 6, Mitsubishi Outlander, and Toyota Corolla.
