Introduced in 2015, the Jaguar XE is a 4-door compact sedan that took the place of the long-running X-Type in the Jaguar lineup. The XE is notable for its extensive use of aluminum for weight-savings, and was also the first application of Jaguar’s 2.0L Ingenium 4-cyl engine. For model year ‘17, the Jaguar XE was also available with V6 and V8 engines, topping out with a 592 hp 5.0L V8 that could launch the XE to 60 mph in under four seconds. For model year ‘20, the Jaguar XE was available with R-Sport, Prestige, Premium and First Edition trim levels. Continental ProContact GX, Pirelli P Zero, Dunlop Sport Maxx RT, Continental ContiSportContact 5, Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season or Pirelli P Zero tires could all be OEM for this make/model.
When you shop 2020 Jaguar XE tires, you’ll probably have the best results with premium all season tires that can deliver long wear, year-round traction, a quiet, forgiving ride and excellent road manners and handling. We’d suggest tires like the, Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 (45k mile warranty), Bridgestone Potenza RE97 AS (50k mile warranty) and Continental ProContact GX (70k mile warranty). To really get the most out of your 2017 Jaguar XE’s handling characteristics, we’d recommend summer and ultra-high-performance tires like the Pirelli Cinturato P7, Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 (K120) and Kumho Ecsta PS31. Just remember that the softer, “stickier” tread formulation of summer and UHP tires really enhances cornering and braking performance, but will stiffen and lose grip in colder weather. These tires shouldn’t be used at temperatures lower than about 45 degrees F.
