The Pirelli Cinturato P7 is an ultra-high-performance summer tire that's designed for use on sporty sedans, coupes, and crossovers, and offers drivers the confidence of wet or dry traction with low noise, a forgiving ride, sharp and responsive handling, and a run-flat design (on select sizes).
Features & Benefits
Ultra-high-performance tread; should not be used when temperatures are consistently below 45 degrees Fahrenheit
Black sidewall
Select sizes feature run-flat design, enabling a driver to go up to 50 miles at speeds less than 50 MPH even after complete loss of inflation pressure
Next-generation tread compound for superb traction, ride comfort
Low rolling resistance design lowers rolling resistance for better fuel efficiency
Pirelli designed the Cinturato P7 as their first "Green Performance" tire, striking a balance between environmental concerns (low rolling resistance and enhanced fuel economy) and superb braking and handling performance. The Cinturato P7 is designed with an advanced rubber compound for a mix of traction, ride comfort, low rolling resistance, and low noise. The run-flat design on select sizes of the Cinturato P7 features a reinforced sidewall to support a vehicle's entire weight, enabling a driver to keep going up to 50 miles even after a loss of inflation pressure. The four wide grooves of the Cinturato P7 help to resist hydroplaning, and its compact center block and reinforced shoulders give it excellent cornering ability. The Cinturato P7 is the original equipment tire for a number of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Mini, and Jaguar models.
No, Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires are not directional. The Cinturato P7 utilizes an asymmetric tread pattern for sporty traction and handling performance on wet and dry roads.
Yes, Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires are a good choice for drivers of medium to high-powered cars that want sporty traction and handling performance and a comfortable ride when driving in warmer weather conditions.
Yes, Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires are available with Run Flat technology in select sizes. Other sizes of the Cinturato P7 feature Pirelli's PNCS or Seal Inside technology.
Cinturato P7 tires could be made at one of Pirelli's Brazil, China, Mexico, United States, or Venezuela based factories.
No, Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires are not noisy thanks to an optimized tread design and special pitch sequencing that reduces road noises to create a quiet, comfortable ride for drivers and passengers.
No, Pirelli Cinturato P7 tires cannot be used in snow. As an ultra-high-performance tire, the Cinturato P7 utilizes a sticky rubber compound that hardens when temperatures are consistently below 45 degree Fahrenheit.
Yes, the Pirelli Cinturato P7 does offer good traction in wet weather thanks to four wide grooves that drain water out of the tire to reduce the risk of hydroplaning on wet roads.
