Since the early 90s, the WRX has been the hotrod of the Subaru lineup; this all-wheel-drive sedan has a true racing pedigree, and was later available with a wagon body style. For model year ‘15, the WRX STi was equipped with a twin-turbo 4-cyl with 305 hp and a CVT transmission for blistering performance as well as a comfortable (but sporty) interior. The ‘15 WRX STi was available with Base, Launch Edition and Limited trim levels.
When you shop 2015 Subaru WRX STi tires, you’ll probably find that premium all season tires will offer the best combination of long wear, year-round traction, ride comfort, handling and road manners. Check out tires like the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus, Toyo Extensa HP II, Bridgestone DriveGuard and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. If you really like pushing the envelope a little, you’ll find that ultra high performance (UHP) tires can offer a good combination of handling and traction; consider tires like the Nitto NT555 G2, Kumho Ecsta PS31 and Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Just bear in mind that UHP tires are warm-weather tires; their softer, stickier tread compound will stiffen and lose traction in colder weather and shouldn’t be used when it’s colder than 45 degrees F outside.
