The Subaru BRZ is a 2+2 sports coupe and a collaboration between Subaru and Toyota; the high-performance BRZ is built on a rear wheel drive platform with Subaru’s flat-four engine that develops 271 hp while still turning in fuel economy of 24 mpg city/33 mpg highway. The racy BRZ has also built quite a reputation in motorsports, along with its Toyota counterpart. For model year ‘17, the BRZ was offered with Limited, Limited w/Performance Package and Premium trim levels.
When it’s time to shop 2017 Subaru BRZ tires, you can really get the most out of your car’s handling and performance with summer and ultra-high-performance tires like the Michelin Primacy HP (with 35k mile treadwear warranty), Yokohama Advan Neova AD08 R and Bridgestone Potenza Sport. For all season tires, we’d recommend premium tires like the Firestone FR740, Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500 or Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 (with 55k mile treadwear warranty). Just remember that the softer, stickier tread formulation of summer and UHP tires gets great traction for cornering, but will stiffen and lose grip in colder weather; these tires shouldn’t be used at temperatures below about 45 degrees F.
