Sold overseas as the Toyota 86, the Scion FR-S (Front-engine, Rear-wheel-drive, Sport) is a Toyota/Subaru joint venture -- a 2 + 2 sports coupe that’s compact and lightweight. The FR-S used a Subaru-designed rear-mounted flat-four engine for performance that was brisk, if not world-beating. The FR-S was available in one trim level, but with various option packages. The FR-S was discontinued in 2016 when Toyota did away with the Scion nameplate. OEM tires for this model would have been Michelin Primacy HP or Bridgestone EL400-02.
When it’s time to shop 2015 Scion FR-S tires, we’d recommend premium all-season tires like the Westlake SA07 Sport, Falken Sincera SN250 A/S, Nitto Neo Gen or Kumho Solus TA31. These are all tires that will deliver the performance and value you need for your 2015 Scion FR-S!
Perfect for summer shenanigans. These are great for for areas that see lots of rain during the spring and summer. It's a summer tire so if course not the best for winter but if the snow comes in early spring, you can confidently drive without too much slip. I have these on my sports car so I have no idea what the comfort rate is or the noise rate. I'm a very spirited driver so typically they last me a season and that's about it.
