The GLA35 is part of Mercedes-Benz’s GLA family of luxury compact sedans; they’re the smallest sedans in the automaker’s lineup, exclusively FWD and exclusively powered by 4-cyl engines. The GLA35 went through the AMG shop and came out with a 302 hp turbo 2.0L 4-cyl that zips the car to 60 mph in just over six seconds while still turning in 21 mpg city/29 mpg highway. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S or Continental ProContact GX SSR tires would be OEM for this make/model.
When it’s time to shop 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLA35 AMG tires, tire sizes could be 235/40R18 or 245/35ZR19. We’d recommend all-season tires like the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus (with 50k mile treadwear warranty) or Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 (45k mile warranty), or maybe summer/ultra-high-performance tires like the Falken Azenis FK460 A/S or Yokohama Advan Apex V601. Just remember that summer/UHP tires use a softer, stickier tread formulation that delivers great handling and braking, but will stiffen and lose traction on colder days. Summer/UHP tires shouldn’t be used if temperatures are below 40-45 degrees F.
