British automaker McLaren has been in the business of exotic sports cars since the mid 80s, and the 570 is a later iteration of McLaren’s supercar philosophy. The 570GT was powered by a 3.8L twin-turbo V8 that could deliver 562 hp, for a 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds and a 200-mph-plus top speed. The 570GT was designed with a side-opening cargo hatch above the mid-mounted engine, a slightly softer suspension and upgraded sound insulation.
A high-performance car needs ultra-high-performance tires. When it’s time to shop 2019 McLaren 570GT tires, some of our UHP recommendations would include tires like the Hankook Ventus V12 evo2 (K120), Kumho Ecsta PS91 or Yokohama Advan Apex V601. Just remember that summer and UHP tires use a softer, stickier tread formulation that delivers great grip, but will stiffen and lose traction on colder days. UHP tires shouldn’t be used when temperatures are below 40-45 degrees F.
These are all great values in UHP tires that will deliver the performance you need for your 2019 McLaren 570GT!
