The Ford Mustang is one of the most iconic vehicles on the American roads, having been introduced as a revolutionary new kind of sporty coupe way back in 1964. By 2010, the Mustang was in its sixth generation, with sleek retro/modern styling, a wide choice of drivetrains that ranged from mild to wild and a whole slew of advanced features. For model year 2010, the Mustang was available in EcoBoost, GT, GT500, Shelby GT500 and GT Premium trim levels.
When you shop 2010 Ford Mustang tires, you’re probably looking for tires that offer unbeatable handling, long wear, good road manners and a quiet ride on the interstate. We’d recommend premium tires like the Pirelli P Zero Nero All Season, Toyo Extensa HP II, Bridgestone DriveGuard and Kumho Solus TA31. If you’re the kind of driver who really likes to push the envelope of your car’s handling, check out ultra high performance tires like the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus, Kumho Solus TA71 and Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus. NOTE: if you opt for UHP tires, be mindful that their softer, stickier tread compound will stiffen and lose traction in colder weather; UHP tires should not be used when it’s colder than about 45 degrees F outside.
I have these on a 2010 Mustang GT and for the price point they are at, they are solid tires. The grip under wet conditions starts to suffer after 3 or 4 months, but it hasn't really been a problem. At this point I've made a few road trips, including a 3500 mile trip, and had no issues with separation or blowouts.
