BMW’s 650i is the second generation of the 6-series coupes. The 650i xDrive is equipped with BMW’s proprietary AWD system, features extensive use of aluminum for weight reduction and is powered by a 4.8L V8 engine that puts out 362 horsepower in coupe or convertible body style. Your 650i xDrive would have left the factory with Bridgestone Turanza ER300 or Goodyear Excellence ROF tires as OEM.
When you shop 2012 BMW 650i xDrive tires, tire sizes could include 245/35R20 (front), 275/30R20 (rear) or 245/40R19, so be sure of the correct size you need. We’d suggest premium all-season tires like the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus and Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4. For more spirited driving, there are summer and ultra-high-performance tires like the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A and Michelin Pilot Sport 4. Just be aware that the softer, sticky, pliable tread compound of summer/UHP tires will stiffen and lose traction in colder weather. Summer/UHP tires shouldn’t be used if temperatures are below 40-45 degrees F.
