The V8 Vantage is part of a long-running series of hand-built sports cars from British boutique automaker Aston Martin. For model year ‘11, the V8 Vantage offered a 430 hp 4.7L V8 with a stiffened-up suspension, 7-speed automated manual transmission and aerodynamic enhancements, with the S trim level offering an even higher level of performance.
When it’s time to shop Aston Martin V8 Vantage tires, bear in mind that this model is an offset fitment, with different size tires front and rear. To get the most out of the handling and braking performance of your Aston Martin V8 Vantage, we’d recommend tires like the Bridgestone Potenza RE050A RFT, Goodyear Excellence ROF, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 or Pirelli P Zero. For the higher-performance S trim level, check out the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 or Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2. Just remember that summer and ultra-high-performance tires get their traction from a softer, stickier tread formulation that will stiffen and lose grip in colder weather. Summer and UHP tires shouldn’t be used if temperatures are below 40-45 degrees F.
