The Yokohama Geolandar G055 tires generally receive positive reviews for their performance and value.
The Yokohama Geolandar G055 tires appear to be a solid choice for many SUV and crossover owners, offering a good balance of performance, comfort, and value. They excel in everyday driving conditions and provide satisfactory performance in light off-road situations. However, they may not be the best choice for severe winter conditions or for those seeking the absolute best in traction and handling.
Positive highlights
Smooth and quiet ride. Good traction in various weather conditions, including rain and light snow. Improved gas mileage reported by some users. Long-lasting tread life, with some users reporting up to 70,000 miles. Comfortable handling and good road grip. Competitive pricing.
Negative highlights
Mixed reviews on winter performance, with some finding them inadequate for harsh winter conditions. A few reports of premature wear, with some users getting only 20,000-30,000 miles. Some users experienced reduced traction compared to other tire models.

Yokohama are the best tires I've ever owned. Lasted longer than than any other, quieter, and performance unmatched. I specifically looked for this tire this time, as my previous set was the same. Very happy.

So far these tires are performing well. Lower marks were given to mileage and winter traction as it is still too early to judge on these issues. Delivery and mounting to a local tire company went well. Pleased with this Simple Tire purchase

We got over 70K out of the first set. Hope to do the same with these. By far the cheapest to get them was on simple tire.

We got 70k out of a set of these on a 2010 Acura MDX AWD. One of the best tires I've ever owned. The people that are getting 20-30K out of these either got a dud or they aren't aligning their vehicle regularly. This is a pretty durable tire. I live in New England this isn't a winter tire, get a real winter tire.

These tires are not really suitable for winter use in New England, USA. Their performance on ice/snow leaves so much to be desired. At 21000 miles, they are at the very least 3/4 worn and will have to be replaced sometime in the next 4 - 5 months. I am very disappointed in them and hoped for better traction and longer tread life. They have been maintained by the recommended inflation pressure and rotation and are installed on an AWD Nissan Rogue Sport.
An all-season tire designed for use on CUVs, SUVs, and minivans, the Geolandar G055 offers drivers confident performance and value along with an up to 65,000 mile limited tread life warranty.
Features & Benefits
All-season tread
Black sidewall
65,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for non-staggered fitments and Front Position tires used in staggered fitments, and 32,5000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for Rear Position tires used in staggered fitment applications.
Lower rolling resistance helps to increase fuel efficiency
A tire that offers all-season traction is a must for most drivers, and the Geolandar G055 from Yokohama was designed to give drivers of CUVs, SUVs, and minivans that year-round traction. Tread grooves are built to provide drivers with more biting edges for added traction in inclement weather, while the Geolandar G055's low rolling resistance allows for improved fuel efficiency so that drivers spend more time on the road instead of at the pumps.
