The Toyo Proxes R888R tires receive overwhelmingly positive reviews for their performance, especially in dry conditions and on the track.
The Toyo Proxes R888R tires are highly regarded for their exceptional dry grip and track performance. They excel in providing superior traction and handling for high-performance vehicles and track use. However, they are not ideal for daily driving or wet conditions due to increased road noise and reduced wet traction. Despite the higher price, enthusiasts and track-day participants find these tires to be an excellent choice for their specific needs.
Positive highlights
Excellent grip and traction, particularly in dry conditions and on the track. Superior cornering and handling capabilities. Good performance on high-powered vehicles. Improved lap times and overall track performance. Attractive and aggressive tread design. Better than many competitors in the same category. Relatively good treadwear for a high-performance tire.
Negative highlights
Poor performance in wet conditions and cold temperatures. Quick wear when used for daily driving. Higher price point compared to standard tires.

Solid
I have these tires on my V8 swapped BMW E30, only in the rear. I don't drive in the rain, so can't review there. In dry conditions there's very little slip & they grip very well during rough gear shifts. The car is lowered and there's a good amount of rear camber, they wore less than the Toyo Proxes R1R I ran before. They also rubbed less, but that's more a fitment related variable.
The cabin noise is so loud I can't comment on much else, but they're very confidence inspiring.

I pulled the trigger on these tires after hearing about all the hype around them for track/daily use. By no means am I a person who tracks their car but I do drive pretty hard on the street. These went on my 2000 B5 S4 6MT and I must say that aside from the sound, they are the best tires I have ridden on to date. Smooth ride and very grippy. I live in Washington so rain was a factor and to be honest, they're fantastic.

These tires do what they're supposed to do. Took these on the Tail Of The Dragon and they stick to the road. They aren't for wet conditions.

Been needing new tires for a while and decided to go big, got the Toyo proxes R888R and it was one of the best purchases I've made. Tires grip fat when needed too, makes the road feel smooth, tread looks aggressive. Decided to go from 265 to 275 and the tire was straight to fender for a clean look. Might be in the higher price section but with affirm you can pay it off month by month which is an Amazing offer. If you're looking for an aggressive yet amazing tire these are definitely the go too !

Bought these for 2020 zl1 1le. Took off the horrible Goodyear eagle f1 tires (worse tire I've ever owned !!!!) replaced with toyo proxes 325 on back and 305 on front . Best decision I've made . Really gives the car something to bite into. I love my car more so than I thought I did before. I'll stay with these for ever.
