I give these tires a 1 out of 5. They are advertised as 8 ply, when in really they are only a 4 ply tire! I don't know about where these tires are sold but a 4 ply side wall and a 4 ply tread doesn't make it an 8 ply tire in Washington state. What ever the side wall says is what the actual ply rating should be. Therefore if it says 4 ply on the side wall its a 4 ply tire.
These are the first and only tires I have bought that add the tread and sidewall rating together to get the total rating. I have not mounted these tires because I might try to sell them.

Great bias mud grip tire of years past design that work perfectly and compliment my restored 1971 Dodge Power wagon W-200.
Simple Tire was fantastic in shipping and even in returning a set of tires that I returned to exchange for a larger size.

These tires are great for the old trucks. I have several Ford F-250 Highboys. These tires look and perform greAt. Original look. It's nice that they are available in 16.5 x 9.5 to fit the original rims. Love them and plan to buy more!!

I put these tires on my 1955 Willy's Jeep CJ-5 that I am restoring. I chose these tires for the size (7.0 x 15), sidewall rating, tread pattern (accurate for era) and construction (bias ply). I think they look great and others have commented the same. The handling is predictable and good, though speeds never go above 55mph and are most often below 45mph. I'm quite happy with the tires and the experience of buying from SimpleTire!
