The Sailun Terramax HLT tires generally receive positive reviews for their performance, value, and durability on various vehicles, including trucks and trailers.
The Sailun Terramax HLT tires are generally well-regarded for their performance, durability, and value. They seem to perform particularly well on heavy-duty vehicles and when towing. However, some users have experienced issues with ride quality, and they may not be ideal for all vehicle types or regular winter driving.
Positive highlights
Quiet and smooth ride. Excellent handling, especially when towing heavy loads. Good wet performance. Durable and long-lasting (up to 45,000-50,000 miles reported). Great value for the price compared to more expensive brands. Suitable for use on dually trucks and trailers. Improved ride quality on heavy-duty vehicles like Ford F350.
Negative highlights
Some users reported a slightly bouncy or jittery ride. One user experienced poor handling and sway on a weighted Sprinter van. Snow traction may be limited for regular use in snowy conditions.
Purchased a set of 4 of these for an 04 Sprinter Van that's got some weight in it 24/7. I own 3 of these Sprinters. Other 2 have Michelins. All I can say is this Terramax HLT turned my van into a bass boat. It sways like a boat. It scared the heck outta me. It used to corner and handle like a sports car (even weighted down with plumbing supplies) now it feels like the whole van is just gonna drift right off the road when I hit an unexpected curve. If I could send them back I would in a heartbeat. I absolutely DESPISE them. Ill never buy from this company again. Don't think I'm a Michelin snob, because I bought all my vans used, and all but this one still have the original tires from the original owner which was a nationwide health business. I ran Firestone Transforce on my other plumbing vans, and Ive ran some really economy tires as well. Ive never had a bad set of tires till I got these. If you're vehicle is weighted, RETHINK these!!!

These tires are a bargain for the price. They ride well and feel good underneath my truck even when towing my 16,000# fifth wheel. Wet traction is good and snow traction on a one ton truck is about what you would expect with a highway tread tire, an A/T tire would be necessary for snowy conditions on a regular basis. I have had these on for 6,000 miles so I can't speak to tread life, yet, but I suspect they will last around 50k miles.

I have 2000 miles on tires and they seem a little jittery, not real smooth. Balance is ok not great .
Tires do look as if they are wearing good . I like these better than the Cooper tires they replaced .

This is our second set of these tires on the rear of our Dually pulling a 20,000 lb dually. We got about 45,000 miles on the last ones. I could have probably gone another 5-10,000 but I don't take chances. Absolutely love these tires and the quick service I receive from Simple Tire each time I order tires. I have 10 tires on our rig and 4 more on our car. All our tires come from Simple Tire. I have recommended Simple Tire to my large network of friends on our website and Facebook and many have purchased from Simple Tire and they too are happy.

Nice tire all the way around. Nice and durable like the more expensive tires. I find them to be not just of good quality but great quality. So don't take my word for it. Just try Sailun tires today. I am sure you won't be dissatisfied.

Have not had in the snow and have not had long enough for tread wear. The first ride with these tires I felt the difference in the ride and the handling. They were put on my Ford F350 dually and the ride changed dramatically. Much much better.

So far, 1k miles on my HLT tires. Quiet, smooth, balanced out nicely. Wet performance is very good. Now we have to see how they last on the mileage. Tires are on a 2009 Nissan Xterra

This completes a full set of tired on our Dually and Fifth Wheel Trailer. All 10 are Sailuns. The truck tires have a few more miles than the trailer tires. Love the quietness and great handling.
An all-season tire, the Terramax HLT is designed for use on light trucks and SUVs and offers drivers a quiet, stable ride plus a 50,000-mile limited tread life warranty.

Built with environmentally friendly materials to improve tread life
Today's light truck and SUV drivers often long for a tire that's designed to perform year-round, and the Terramax HLT from Sailun is built with these drivers in mind. Designed with a tread pattern that reduces road noises, the Terramax HLT puts more rubber on the roads to increase traction and handling while also allowing for a longer tread life. Four wide grooves within the tread remove water to improve hydroplaning resistance, and the Terramax HLT is built with a special rubber compound that strengthens tread life.
Sailun Terramax HLT tires are typically manufactured in Mainland China, Vietnam, and Cambodia. That being said, they could be manufactured in other parts of the world as well.
Yes, Sailun Terramax HLT is backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.
The Sailun Terramax HLT is an all-season tire designed for use on SUVs and light trucks.
Yes, the Sailun Terramax HLT tires are a good option as they feature a symmetric tread design that not only reduces road noise and vibrations but also boosts handling and traction by putting more rubber on the surface. Improving the wet performance are the four wide grooves that clear water quickly from the tread for consistent traction and improved control.
Yes, Sailun Terramax HLT tires can be used in light winter conditions as they are generally used on paved roads. However, they are not Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified and should not be used in severe winter weather conditions.
