The Radar Renegade R/T tires receive mixed reviews, with a majority of customers expressing satisfaction with their performance and appearance.
The Radar Renegade R/T tires are generally well-received for their aggressive appearance, versatile performance, and value for money. They seem to perform well in various conditions, including off-road and in adverse weather. However, some users have experienced issues with balancing and long-term wear. Overall, they appear to be a good option for those seeking an aggressive tire at a competitive price point, but potential buyers should be aware of the occasional reported issues.
Positive highlights
Aggressive and attractive look. Good traction in various conditions (dry, wet, mud, snow). Relatively quiet for an aggressive tire. Smooth ride quality. Excellent value for the price. Good off-road performance. Long tread life for many users.
Negative highlights
Some users experienced difficulty balancing the tires. Occasional issues with vibration at highway speeds. Some complaints about poor tread wear or uneven wear. Isolated cases of sidewall weakness or tire failure.

Excellent all terrain, rough terrain tire.
Excellent all terrain, rough terrain tire. There's no road noise in my 2020 F150 even with the aggressive tread pattern. They grip all road and off road surfaces with dependable traction in all weather. I've had them in snow, ice, rain, dry and mud. Mounting and balancing were good for a larger aggressive tread tire. Ride is a little stiffer than what I was accustomed to but I'm also running higher air pressure for highway use currently. Highly recommend this tire and the delivery time with Simple Tire.

Love 'em, but...
Looks
Absolutely love the look. Pleasantly aggressive enough for me.
Road conditions
Pretty great all season.
Noise
Not bad. Not very quiet, but not very loud. Slight hum. No biggie.
Tread wear
Not sure how I feel about the wear. Currently 3 months shy of 2 years and 20k miles later and they were rated "Fair" during my last vehicle inspection at the dealership. I'll see how close I can get to 40k miles (limited mfg tread life warranty).

Nice tire
I put these on a 2014 tundra 4x4 size 285/65/18. They look cool, ride well, and not that loud considering how they look. however, they do not balance well at all. I had these balanced twice with a standard balance machine at two different places to just end up bouncing down the road again...
I ended up having them road forced balanced and that made a world of difference. They are not perfect but I can deal with the little bit of bounce that they give out. its really not bad at all, you could easily blame it on the road, its that minimal. Check your local tire shop to see if they have a road force balance machine before ordering.

Very acceptable tire for the cost
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these tires. I had just went through a set a rugged terrain Attoro tires, which I thought preformed well. But I found these for almost $500 cheaper, so I took the risk and bought a set of 4 sized 275/70R18 RT 125QE and had them installed on my 2012 F150 with a 2½" leveling kit (it's oversized but absolutely no rubbing ever) just a day before a 11 day hunting trip. This trip was particularly wet and soggy. I spent the next week and a half sliding around slick gooy muddy clay back roads...but they gripped very well. I stay in 2 wheel drive until I need 4 wheel, and when I got stuck, those tires got me out pretty quickly. Some moments took a little more effort than others, but I never felt i was going to need someone help pull me out.
I spent a lot of time over the next year off road and traveling constantly. I keep a logbook of everything i do with my truck, and here's the exact breakdown of the tires.

I probably could have gotten longer life out of them if I kept up on rotations, but i never did, and it was definitely time to replace them. The last 4 months of use, 1 rear tire had a large screw in the center of the tread. But I kept an eye on it without doing anything about it, it never leaked air or anything and it still I bought the exact same tire November 26, 2024 and paid $788.
I would recommend these tires. For the amount of miles I spent on rocky, wet, snotty rough backroads, while also being a daily driver, I think I got my monies worth, even if it was a relatively short time span.
