Yes, Ohtsu tires could be offered with the manufacturer's limited warranty under which Ohtsu tires could be covered against defects in manufacturing and workmanship down to 2/32" of the original usable tread or for 5 years from the date of manufacture, whichever is earlier. If a tire is unserviceable within the first 2/32” (1.6 mm) of the remaining tread depth, it will be replaced free of cost with a comparable Ohtsu tire and after the first 2/32” (1.6 mm) wear a prorated adjustment credit is made to the customer, based on the percentage of remaining usable tread depth, down to the remaining wear bars at which no credit is due.
Ohtsu tires could be made at one of Sumitomo Rubber Industries' manufacturing plants located in Indonesia or Japan.
