The Nitto Crosstek 2 tires receive mixed reviews, with many customers praising their performance while others report significant issues.
The Nitto Crosstek 2 tires appear to offer good performance and comfort for many users, particularly in dry conditions and for everyday driving. However, there are concerns about their longevity and performance in adverse weather conditions. The tires seem best suited for warm climates and may not be ideal for areas with frequent wet or snowy conditions.
Positive highlights
Good traction on dry, wet, and dirt roads. Comfortable for highway driving. Excellent handling and grip, especially in dry conditions. Good value for money. Performs well under heavy loads (e.g.
when towing).
Negative highlights
Some users report poor performance in wet conditions and light snow. Instances of premature wear, with some not reaching expected mileage. Dry rot issues reported by one user.

So far so good and keeping us safe
We wanted safe tires for our teenage drivers. So far they have been great and a big improvement from what we had prior.

Good name brand affordable tire
Good name brand affordable tire. The tires do like to hold stones and fling them off when you start driving down the road though. Also slightly heavier all season tire due to the steel belts inside the tires which can affect fuel mileage ever so slightly for the negative. All in all I'm content with my purchase beings I would have spend several hundred more for a competitors tire of a similar design. I would personally go with a slightly lighter tire for my 2.7t Silverado next time but I wouldn't not recommend these, they are good for the price.

Excellent as always, thanks NITTO
Used these as summer tires on a 2012 Explorer, absolutely glued to the road even in corners on more "spirited" drives

Very happy with my decision to go with these tires
These tires are very quiet and smooth, but also very grippy. Not the best in the rain but not terrible.

Great tires so far
Bought these to replace Hankook tires on my '07 Toyota Highlander. So far, the Nitto's have been great. Good traction in wet and dry, quiet and at a great price.
Designed for use on CUVs, SUVs, and light trucks, the Crosstek 2 is an all-season tire that offers drivers year-round traction and a quiet ride plus an up to 60,000-mile limited tread life warranty.
Features & Benefits
All-season tread
Black sidewall
60,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for S- and T-speed rated sizes, and 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for H- and V-speed rated and LT-metric sizes
Built-in service indicators allow drivers to visually monitor alignment and treadwear
Whether commuting to work, taking the kids to school, or simply running errands, CUV, SUV, and light truck drivers long for a tire that offers year-round traction and performance. Fortunately, Nitto's Crosstek 2 was built with these drivers in mind as grooves within its tread channel water away from the tire to improve traction on wet roads. 3D Multi-wave sipes provide additional biting edges, and the Crosstek 2 also features built-in visual treadwear indicators so that drivers can see when it's time to schedule and alignment, rotation, or other service in hopes of preventing issues and maximizing the life of their tires.
The Nitto Crosstek 2 is a product of Toyo Tire Holdings.
The Nitto Crosstek 2 is produced in several plants across the Pacific Rim and United States.
The Nitto Crosstek 2 is backed by a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for H- and V-rated and LT-metric sizes, and a 60,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for S- and T-rated sizes. This means the Crosstek 2 is expected to last at least 50,000 or 60,000 miles, depending on the tire's size or speed rating, assuming proper use, maintenance, and rotation are followed.
Yes, the tread pitch of the Nitto Crosstek 2 is computer tuned to keep road noise low.
Yes, the Nitto Crosstek 2's longitudinal grooves and multi-wave sipes are designed to channel water away and resist hydroplaning.
The Nitto Crosstek 2 is designed for use on CUVs, SUVs, and light trucks.
Yes, the Nitto Crosstek 2's tread pattern is designed as an all season tire.
Yes, the sipes and tread pattern of the Nitto Crosstek 2 should deliver good performance in light snow and slush. The Crosstek 2 is not Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, so it should not be used in moderate to severe winter weather conditions.
