I tried 2 sets of these tires. The first set I had balanced by 2 different tire shops 3 times and an alignment within a couple thousand miles and would not ride smooth. Simple tire is an awesome company and agreed to send me another set thinking the first set was defective. The second set was even worse. I have since bought another set of tires and the balance good and ride smooth. I don't normally leave reviews but I want to warn others before they waste a ton of time and money of these tires.

Nexan Roadian MTX were a total waste of money. Three visits to different tire shops and the tires will not balance. My truck bounces like a basketball above 65 mph.
I am forced to save and buy a different brand as soon as possible.

I've ran these tires 2 years in a row. I run them on a 4th gen ram 1500 that is lifted and is my daily driver. Mostly pavement and some off road and they hold up well. The tread is very aggressive and awesome in the mud. They move lots of earth if you spin em in the mud. I havent been stuck with them yet and I'm constantly running to the fields my stands etc, I put roughly 30k miles on the last set i bought. And they are still about half tread. However I had a ball joint going bad and 2 of them got worn down funny so I ordered a whole set of new ones. Keep them rotated and you'll find they last longer than any other offroad mud tire I've ran so far. The first year I had the truck I ran a $700 set of radar renegade r7s or something and they where great for mud amd all but just didn't last but only 10 to 15k miles and where almost bald. These rodian mtx are 13 ply! Load range f and are heavy duty I've ran over glass and all kinds of steel at the farm and scrap yards and never had an issue. 2 ply sidewall you cant beat them for a little over a thousand bucks for all 4. (35x12.5x17) s I highly recommend and I'm not sponsored.

I've had Yokohama and BFG mud terrains in the past. These are surprisingly better. Mud, sand, rocks, snow, rain, and highway all better. Less noise and I find that I don't have to air down as much off-road, they just tackle everything I throw at them and I'm surprised after all I've put them through I'm not missing any tread blocks, cracks, no tears. Folks that don't believe in Nexen due to their early beginnings need to understand the company has drastically changed and this attempt at producing a mud terrain is an absolute home run accomplishment that should be forcing the other major manufacturers to go back to the drawing board.
