The Mastercraft Glacier Trex tires receive generally positive reviews for their winter performance and value.
The Mastercraft Glacier Trex tires appear to be a solid choice for winter driving, offering good performance in snow and wet conditions at an affordable price point. They seem particularly well-suited for drivers in areas with harsh winter conditions, providing reliable traction and handling in challenging environments.
Positive highlights
Excellent traction in snow and wet conditions. Aggressive tread design provides good grip on snow and ice. Performs well in challenging winter conditions, even comparable to 4-wheel drive vehicles. Relatively quiet on dry pavement despite aggressive tread. Good value for the price.
Negative highlights
Caution still needed on ice and hard-packed snow. Softer material can make vehicle handling slightly less responsive on dry pavement. Tread life may be reduced if used in summer.

If you're looking for a tire that'll handle the snow, look no further. I've first purchased these at a shop for an old car, a '94 Buick Park Avenue and it would go places where 4 wheel drive vehicles could go.
I then later on needed snow tires for the rear tires of my Lincoln Towncar, and when paired with the excellent traction control system of the car, I was easily able to handle the northern Michigan snow and ice with ease.
The aggressive tread design allows you to get grip on the snow and ice, however it's not any louder than my summer tires on dry pavement. The softer material does make the vehicle handle a bit more sloshy when driving on dry pavement, however I did keep them on all summer and they held up fine in the heat as well. Just remember tread life will be severely reduced when driving with snow tires in the summer.
Simpletire made it easy to find these tires for my new car and they were shipped within 2 days, impressive for where I live. Overall a great experience and I'm currently shopping for new tires for my Jeep Grand Cherokee here.

These MasterCraft tires have been good so far, Awesome snow and wet traction. On ice and hard packed snow you still need to use caution. But for $87.00 a tire it's still a good Winter Tire.
A studdable winter tire, the Glacier Trex from Mastercraft offers drivers improved braking and accelerating in snowy conditions.
Features & Benefits

Can be pinned with TSM #12 studs for additional traction in ice and snow
Winter weather often brings ice, snow, sleet, and freezing rain with it, which can make things hectic for drivers. Fortunately, winter tires are designed to remain flexible in lower temperatures so that drivers receive consistent grip. Consider the Glacier Trex from Mastercraft, which is built with Winter Compound Technology to increase flexibility and durability in colder weather. An aggressive, directional tread pattern grabs into snowy roads to strengthen braking and acceleration capabilities while also removing water from the contact patch for added hydroplaning resistance. Able to be pinned with studs to further increase traction, the Glacier Trex's patented Snow Groove II design locks snow into the tread for better "snow on snow" grip.
