I bought these winter Hankook tires for my old Honda crv & they handle great on snow and ice . Had good traction in heavy rain as well . They are a little noisy on dry pavement compared to touring tires and fell slightly spongy on hot dry pavement , they are a great buy though simple tire they arrived on my porch in 4 days

I don't know ANYTHING about TIRES. Good price, fast shipping, and no problems in the snow so far here in snowy Pittsburgh. Theses tires were not even available locally. Very pleased.
A studdable winter tire, the Winter i*pike (W409) from Hankook is designed for use on sports coupes, luxury sedans, minivans, and CUVs, and offers drives improved stability plus better traction and performance on ice and snow covered roads.
Features & Benefits
Winter tread design
Black sidewall
Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified thanks to its ability to perform in severe snow conditions
Can be pinned with studs to enhance traction and performance on ice and snow
Driving in winter weather can be difficult, as low temperatures, ice, slush, and snow all make it difficult for tires to grip the road. Fortunately, winter tires are designed to remain flexible at lower temperatures for consistent traction and performance, and the Winter ipike (W409) does that and more for drivers of sport coupes, luxury sedans, minivans, and CUVs. Wide grooves within the tread drain water to reduce the risk of hydroplaning while also packing in snow for better traction, and the Winter ipike (W409)'s kerf design enhances stability on icy and snowy roads. Stiff tread blocks boost handling and braking capabilities, and the Winter i*pike (W409) is Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified thanks to its ability to perform in severe snow conditions.
