Do not balance out well. Noisy.
Tires handle decent in the conditions I have driven in so far, but they do not balance out well. They vibrate slightly on the highway, and are noisier than what I was expecting for a traditional all season tire. Not very pleased with my purchase as the car is driven 90% on the highway, the only time the vibration and tire noise is noticeable.

Great tire at a great price.
Bought 4 GT Radial Maxtour LX tires, 245/45/19, for my 2019 Chevy Impala Premier.
These tires track straight as an arrow, absorb road bumps well, and instill a feel of
confidence from tire to steering wheel without feeling stiff. I am not only pleased,
I am impressed. They have not seen winter yet, and it's too early to speak on wear
since they only have a bit over 1,000 miles on them, however, they do come with
a 60,000 mi. warranty. Many people may have not heard of GT Radial, but I strongly
recommend you give them a try. You will not be disappointed and you will save lots
of money. These are not some risky off brand, but the real deal. I'm a DIYer and serious about my cars. These are now my go to tires.
The GT Radial Maxtour LX is an all-season tire that's designed for use on sedans, coupes, and CUVs, and offers drivers great steering and handling performance, better wet and light snow traction, quieter rides, and an up to 70,000 mile limited manufacturer warranty.

Black sidewall
70,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty
Backed by GT Radial's Road Hazard, Limited Warranty, 30 Day Test Drive Trial, 24 Hour Roadside Assistance, and Mileage Warranty (restrictions and limitations apply)
Full-depth sipes are responsible for solid year-round traction
Most drivers don't want to change tires with the change in season, and that's where the GT Radial Maxtour LX comes as a great choice. The tire is meant to be comfortable over long distances, with its pitch sequencing design preventing road noise from getting into the cabin. The asymmetric tread design and full-depth sipes create additional biting edges for dependable traction performance throughout the tire’s lifespan. The high tread depth of this tire offers greater confidence over different surfaces and the independent shoulder grooves enhance handling performance. All thanks to the stiff tread blocks, the Radial Maxtour LX offers enhanced handling and steering performance. The GT Radial Maxtour LX is suitable for use on vehicles like the Honda Civic, Chevrolet Equinox, Honda CR-Z, Nissan Maxima, BMW 3 Series, Ford Escape, Toyota Venza, Dodge Journey, and more.
Yes, the GT Radial Maxtour LX is a good tire for drivers of coupes, sedans, and CUVs who want enhanced traction and handling performance in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. The Maxtour LX also offers drivers a long tread life and a quiet, comfortable ride.
Most GT Radial Maxtour LX tires are made in Chester County, South Carolina. That being said, some Maxtour LX tires could be made in Indonesia.
GT Radial Maxtour LX tires are backed by a 70,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty. This means the Maxtour LX is expected to last at least 70,000 miles assuming proper use, maintenance, and rotation are followed.
GT Radial Maxtour LX tires are made by Giti Tire, who also makes Primewell and Dextero tires.
No, GT Radial Maxtour LX tires are not directional. The asymmetrical tread pattern of the Maxtour LX provides sporty traction and handling while also allowing the tire to be freely rotated for a longer tread life.
Yes, GT Radial Maxtour LX tires can be used in light snow thanks to their all-season rubber compound, independent shoulder groove, shoulder channels, and full depth sipes that provide traction in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. The Maxtour LX is not Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, so it should not be used in moderate to severe winter weather conditions.
No, GT Radial Maxtour LX tires are not noisy thanks to a harmonically optimized pitch sequencing that reduces road noises and vibrations to create a quiet, comfortable ride for drivers and passengers.
