The Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires receive mixed reviews, with many praising their performance and longevity while others report issues with tread wear and traction in certain conditions.
The Goodyear Wrangler SR-A tires appear to be a decent choice for light trucks and SUVs primarily used on paved roads. They offer a comfortable ride and good longevity for many users. However, their performance in wet conditions and snow is inconsistent, and they may not be suitable for heavy-duty applications or frequent off-road use. Potential buyers should consider their specific driving needs and conditions before purchasing.
Positive highlights
Smooth and quiet ride on highways. Good traction in dry conditions. Long-lasting tread life for many users, with some reporting 60,000+ miles. Performs well in light off-road conditions. Good value for the price.
Negative highlights
Some users report poor traction in wet conditions and snow. Inconsistent tread wear, with some experiencing premature wear. Not suitable for heavy-duty truck use or frequent off-roading.

The lady said "That's the reason"
I have 56000 miles on my 2004 Dodge Ram. Street driving only. This is my third set of Goodyear Wranglers. I only buy them because they came on the truck so I figured I'd keep them original. Did I mention this is my third set of these "50,000 mile" tires? That means I have been getting less than 20,000 miles between tire changes! So, while I was at the tire store, I asked the tire advisor why my tires kept wearing out so soon. She said "what kind are they?" I told her. And she said, "That's the reason" She said she sees a lot of pick-ups wearing these Goodyear tires out prematurely. She told me next time, check in with them first and they can give me a list of tires that they believe are better deals. And, I plan on doing that. In about 20,000 miles. As much as I like keeping my Ram original, I just can't see popping $800 for new tires every 20K miles. Sorry Goodyear. As I see it, you had three opportunities to show your stuff, and you didn't pass muster.

TLDR: Mediocre tire, if you live somewhere that is dry most of the time and you NEVER take it offroad, this is the tire for you. They get decent fuel economy and are reasonably quiet.
I have these tires (265/60/20) on a 2005 Silverado 2500HD, and am very unimpressed. Towing trailers around on paved roads/highway they're perfectly adequate, and picked up 1-2MPG over the Sumitomo all terrains that were on the truck when I purchased it. That said, in minor snow/less than ideal situations they have very poor braking performance and overall little grip. My truck will get stuck rather quickly going through snow more than a couple inches deep, even in 4WD. These do not shed snow or mud at all.
