The Goodyear Eagle Touring tires receive mixed reviews, with many customers praising their performance but expressing disappointment with their short tread life.
The Goodyear Eagle Touring tires offer a comfortable, quiet ride with good handling in dry and wet conditions. However, the most significant drawback is their inconsistent and often short tread life, with many customers needing to replace them prematurely. This issue is particularly frustrating for owners of new vehicles where these tires are installed as original equipment. While some users report excellent longevity, the majority express disappointment with the tire's durability, especially given Goodyear's reputation and the tire's price point.
Positive highlights
Smooth and quiet ride. Good handling and traction in dry and wet conditions. Comfortable driving experience. Attractive appearance. Excellent performance for some drivers, lasting up to 65,000 miles.
Negative highlights
Poor performance in snow and ice conditions. Lack of mileage warranty from Goodyear. Inconsistent quality, with some users experiencing much longer tread life than others.

Came on my new Mazda CX-50.
My new Mazda CX-50 came with 20" rims and these tires in a 245-45 R20. The out lug sipes are so small that this tire has no business being labeled an all season with some snow capability. The only thing I can think of is that Mazda had a specific version for them. It's a 3 season tire.

These are some good tires, that get the job done.
The tires perform flawlessly in wet & dry conditions. I haven't driven in freezing and snowy conditions yet. I am waiting on the winter season to really put them to the test. But as of now, the tires are good to drive on.

Do not buy these
This is the OEM tire fitted on my 23 accord and they suck. Medicare traction, loud road noise and poor construction. The sidewall gaveout hitting a pothole at 35mph (I always make sure the tires are inflated to manufacture spec and the car was empty except for just 2 150lb people in the car). Replaced with a whole set of driveguard plus RFT and they are much quieter, more traction and even better mpg being run flats. I do not understand how goodyear managed to make these suck in every aspect and their only customer should be manufactures trying to get name brand OEM tires for cheap.

An optimized tire contact area allows for better handling and responsiveness
Drivers long for a tire that performs regardless of the weather, and Goodyear designed the Eagle Touring to do just that (and more). An optimized contact area allows for enhanced handling and responsiveness, while extra biting edges give the Eagle Touring traction in wet, dry, and snowy conditions. Offering drivers a quiet ride, the Eagle Touring is used as original equipment on the 2019 and 2020 Ram 1500 Laramie 4x2, 4x4, and Longhorn and Limited, in addition to be a popular replacement tire for drivers of the Cadillac CT6, Honda Accord, Hyundai Kona, and Porsche Macan.
