The aggressive unidirectional tread of the Winterforce CV tire does a great job getting me through deep snow. It is one of the few winter tires that has not compromised tread design to make a quieter tire. Most of the so called winter tires are designed for occasional slippery roads. I live in a area with unpredictable deep snows and I need a tire I can be confident I can use even before the roads are plowed. I encounter snow covered roads more than icy roads, but it also does a good job on icy roads.

Black sidewall

Backed by Firestone’s 90 day Buy and Try Guarantee on tires sold in sets of 4 or more (certain restrictions and limitations apply)
Optimized tread design offers smooth and comfortable rides
To enable light truck or van drivers to feel confident on snow and ice, they need to get dedicated winter tires. Fortunately, the Firestone Winterforce CV is a great winter tire that allows commercial drivers to feel confident over long distances, offering several traction-related features. While diagonal grooves and sipes enhance grip, the special rubber compound also improves both traction and performance. The winter tread rubber compound keeps the tire flexible at low temperatures (below 45 degrees Fahrenheit) and the tire displays an open shoulder design, featuring more blocks on the edge for better operation in snow or rain. An 8-ply rating prevents the Winterforce CV from losing shape while carrying heavy loads. This tire is suitable for use on vehicles like the Ford Transit, Kia Sorento, Mazda MPV, and more.
