The Firestone Winterforce 2 tires receive mixed reviews, with many customers praising their performance in snow and winter conditions, while others express concerns about ride quality and traction on ice.
The Firestone Winterforce 2 tires appear to be a budget-friendly option for winter driving, particularly excelling in snowy conditions. They seem to offer good value for money, especially for drivers in areas with heavy snowfall. However, the tires may not be ideal for those prioritizing a smooth ride or requiring exceptional performance on ice. The mixed reviews suggest that individual experiences may vary based on specific driving conditions and vehicle types.
Positive highlights
Excellent performance in snow and deep snow conditions. Good traction in wet conditions. Suitable for various vehicle types, including SUVs and pickup trucks. Competitive pricing compared to other winter tires. Long-lasting tread life reported by some users. Quiet ride on dry pavement for a winter tire.
Negative highlights
Mixed reviews on ice performance, with some finding it lacking. A few customers experienced issues with tire balance and wobbling at higher speeds. Some users found the tires to perform poorly in slush and on icy roads.

Good snow tire choice
Good snow tire choice that won't break the bank and normally good deals on them. They do wear pretty quick but the first year they are unstoppable in the snow. Road noice is as expected for a deep tread.

They are a great winter snow tire.
I have been buying winter force tires for 10 years. I've had people buying me other tires for winter. But they do not handle the snow as well as a winter force, snow tire. As long as they keep making them, I will be buying them years forward.

We have a 2017 Toyota Camry SE. Living in Northeastern Vermont in the winter time gives many opportunities for challenging winter driving. After several times having to leave work to get my wife unstuck in our own driveway, I knew I had to get different winter tires for her car. Finding Good winter tires this size is a challenge. I found Firestone Winterforce 2's at Simple Tire for several hundred dollars cheaper for a set of four than anywhere else. They arrived on time and saved the day. And...my wife is so much happier now driving in the winter !

I only have a few thousand miles on the tires, and are only ran during the winter so I can't comment on tread life. However, these tires performed very well in the two larger snow storms we've had this winter in PA. They've also done well in heavy rains with displacing water. As long as Firestone doesn't change I'll tread design I'll purchase these again from Simple Tire.

Road noise is high but that's expected of winter tires. They're just what I needed though! I have RWD and can drive my car in New England winters now!
