The Federal Xplora R/T tires are generally well-received by customers, offering a good balance of off-road capability, on-road performance, and value. They are particularly praised for their aggressive looks and versatile performance in various terrains. While some users report issues with road noise, this seems to be an expected trade-off for the aggressive tread pattern. Overall, these tires appear to be a popular choice for those seeking a capable all-terrain tire at a competitive price point.

Great Tires
Got these in 35x12.5R20 put around 35k miles on them before I had to change them due to external circumstances. I rotated every 8k miles and still had 11/32 tread left. Would buy them again especially for the price. I live in Colorado and go camping and fishing in some remote areas and they did GREAT. No issues. Not much road noise.

Great A/T Tire for the price!
I will keep my review short, but these tires are great. We converted a sprinter van into a camper and installed this on it. We've put 18k miles on the van and high way driving is comfortable, but as expected they do create noise.
When we get to really use the tires off-road and on service roads they really pull their weight. Only gotten stuck once with a rwd full length sprinter van. I call that a win.
Treadwear after all these miles they still look very good. Haven't measured tread wear but I have seen trucks with A/T tires and they always seem to wear quick. Not these. Definitely will buy again.

Look good, handle better, wear great
Been running these tires for about 2.5 years now on my 2014 F250 super cab. After 25,000 miles they are down about half tread. Tires have been wearing smooth and even. Good durability in rough terrain. Good traction in wet and snowy conditions. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing extra traction for winter or off-road.

Out $700. After three wheel balances found three tires out of round. No waranty and no return. Never again gamble on cheap tires!

Bought these a year and a half ago. At first the tires were excellent. Love the aggressive look and grip was great in all conditions. Unfortunately it only took about one year (8k miles) until that grip in wet/snowy conditions went away. And tread life is horrible. Only have 13k on them and they're at half tread. Was really hoping to get 30-40k out of these but I'll be running slicks by that point. I liked the price point before prices of everything went up, but don't think I'll be running these again.

Good dry traction off and on road. On pavement very loud at low speeds and in corners. Good in loose snow, abysmal on ice/hardpack. Impressive in mud. Seem to be wearing well. Good overall value, but Ill be trying something else next. 10k so far 285/75R16

There great tires especially in winter. Just a little noisy but that's to be expected with a more aggressive tire I would definitely buy them again
