The Falken Wildpeak MT01 tires receive generally positive reviews for their performance, appearance, and value.
The Falken Wildpeak MT01 tires are well-regarded for their off-road capabilities, relatively quiet performance, and attractive appearance. They offer good value for those seeking a versatile mud-terrain tire that can handle daily driving as well as more challenging conditions. However, some users experienced issues with wet pavement traction and wear, which potential buyers should consider based on their specific needs and driving conditions.
Positive highlights
Excellent traction in various terrains, including mud, snow, and off-road conditions. Surprisingly quiet for mud terrain tires, especially on highways. Aggressive and attractive appearance. Good value for the price. Impressive tread life, with many users reporting 40,000+ miles of use. Smooth ride quality for an aggressive tire. Performs well in both on-road and off-road conditions.
Negative highlights
Some users reported issues with traction on wet pavement. A few complaints about rapid or uneven wear. Occasional reports of reduced fuel efficiency. Some users found them too soft for extensive on-road use.

Really impressed with these MT's. Drive great, ride smooth, and the noise level is ridiculously quiet for a MT. Bought because the reviews said really quiet also the snow flake rating because of the harsh winters. Driving mostly interstate and city driving. Tires will see deep snow and winter driving with occasional off road use when needed. Swiss Army knife of tires.

I don't usually write reviews but I have to say how pleased I am with these tires and Simple Tire.
I bought the tires for a plow vehicle; 1977 F150. We have had a fairly snowy winter in VT and I have not gotten stuck yet. The truck itself is noisy so I can't really say much about the tire noise or comfort but my old truck goes down the road straight and comfortably.
Also, there was a snafu in shipping where one of my tires was swapped with another local delivery. Simple tire customer support was pleasant and efficient at getting it straightened out.
Note that the selection for vehicles doesn't go back as far as '77.

So far deep snow and packed snowy roads and icy roads are far better than any other mud terrain I have used. On par or better than a lot of the bog name all terrains. Only have 4K miles on them so can't comment on wear but are holding up well so far. Also tow. A 31' 5th wheel and no surprises there.

Was nervous about buying an MT tire, bought these for a 2015 ram 1500, the tires exceeded my expectations, put 10k miles on them with very little tread wear. The tires were great in the snow and slush being from Maine, coming from an all terrain tire thr road noise was about the same, no howling which was nice. Over all extremely happy with these tires and would 100% buy again only thing I would change is go to a 35x12.5 instead of a 33x12.5!

Some mileage drop as expected, but road handling isn't bad. Unless wet, and then it gets a little dicey. Road noise after about 15k miles is a deafening howl. I can't replace tires yet but I can guarantee you I'll be looking into quieter tires. These are the loudest MTs I've even owned.

Excellent tire so far. Pictures dont DP these tires any justice. They look so much better in person. Ride is great, not a bunch of noise like most MT tires.

Got little over 50,000 miles on a set of falken m/t's. Up to date best tires I've every owned.
A mud terrain tire, the Wildpeak MT01 is designed for use on light trucks and SUVs thanks to its ability to perform on pavement, mud, snow, and rocks.
Features & Benefits
Tread is designed for use in mud and other off-road surfaces
Black sidewall
Sidewall features DURASPEC Technology to conquer the toughest road conditions while also adding an extra layer of protection
Looking for a tire that can handle grueling trails and perform on the paved roads that need to be taken to get there? Falken's Wildpeak MT01 is designed to give drivers maximum traction on the toughest terrains without sacrificing on road performance. Blocks within the tire's tread are designed for enhanced stability and handling while also preventing stones from being trapped within the tread grooves. Ideal for off road uses, the Wildpeak MT01 also gives drivers a quiet on road drive, making it a popular choice for drivers of the Chevrolet Silverado, Ford F-250, Jeep Wrangler, Nissan Titan, Ram 1500, and Toyota Tacoma.
Yes, Falken Wildpeak M/T tires are a great choice for drivers of Jeeps, light trucks, and SUVs that need strong traction and performance on paved roads, mud, dirt, rocks, sand, and other off-road terrains. The Wildpeak M/T also offers drivers enhanced durability and a quiet, comfortable ride.
Wildpeak M/T tires could be made at Falken's United States plant in Buffalo, NY, in Japan, or in Thailand.
Falken Wildpeak M/T tires are made by Falken Tire, who is a member of the Sumitomo Rubber Industries family.
Falken Wildpeak M/T tires could be 6, 8, or 10 ply rated depending on the tire's size.
No, Falken Wildpeak M/T tires are not noisy despite being a mud terrain tire. The optimized tread pattern of the Wildpeak M/T works with three variable pitch tread block to reduce road noises and vibrations for a quiet, comfortable ride.
Yes, Falken Wildpeak M/T tires can be used in snow thanks to their aggressive tread pattern that increases traction and performance on any terrain and open shoulders and angled grooves that force water, mud, slush, and snow out of the tire for consistent traction. The Wildpeak M/T is not Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified, so it should not be used in moderate to severe winter weather conditions.
No, Falken Wildpeak M/T tires do not have a manufacturer tread life warranty.
The max PSI for Falken Wildpeak M/T tires is 35, 50, 65, or 80 depending on the tire's size. The Wildpeak M/T can be aired down for use in off-road driving.
