The Deestone D838 tires are well-regarded for their durability, traction, and value. They are particularly praised for their 6-ply construction, which offers improved puncture resistance and load-bearing capacity. While some users experienced initial mounting challenges, the overall sentiment is positive, with many customers indicating they would purchase these tires again.
Positive highlights
Good traction on various surfaces, including wet grass and hillsides. Heavy-duty construction with 6-ply rating, offering better durability than 4-ply alternatives. Aggressive tread pattern that provides excellent grip without damaging lawns. Suitable for multiple applications, including lawn mowers, tractors, and small loaders. Competitive pricing compared to other brands.

I put these tires on the front and rear of my 1972 International Cub Cadet tractor and they give me wonderful traction in the woods when I'm pulling my trailer full of logs and don't chew up my lawn because the tread is not too coarse. In the winter I plow snow with this tractor and I put chains on the rear tires and have had no complaints how the handle that task ! I'm very pleased with these tires.

I purchased these tires for a small loader for my tree and landscaping business to minimize damage to lawns. I am very happy with the ability of these tires to handle heavy loads. They have not caused any ruts or turf damage. I have had them for 3 months and so far am very pleased. I would purchase again.

Great tire for Scag mower, lots of traction! Smaller than original tire though same tire dimensions
on sidewall. Mounted just fine. Just adjust deck if there is blade height difference.

I put these tires on the rear of my old powerful Cub Cadet 147 which had the original rear tires that I needed to have the winter tire chains on to get traction to pull the heavy trailer loads of logs with on dry ground, In seeing the tread design of these Deestone tires I decided to try them with out the chains and they grip eith great traction so I no longer have to have the bumpy ride of the chains - much appreciated ! I love the advice the Simple tire gave me about getting the 6 ply version that doesn't have the thin mushy side walls which went bad on the original tires. I'm very pleased with these tires ! Would buy again.

I bought 24x12x12 and 18x8.5x8 for a JD x495. Tires are about an inch smaller and narrower than the Carlyle tires they replaced. They have good tread that doesn't tear the grass. i would buy again. Haven't been on long enough to tell how they grip in wet/snow conditions.
The Deestone D838 lawn and garden bias ply tires feature a wide footprint to minimize soil compaction while providing exceptional grip.
