These are excellent tires, my vehicle handles remarkably better on the snow and ice. The ride noise isn't too bad for snow tires. I have purchased tires from Simple Tire seven times now and I am a customer for life. Simple Tire offers outstanding prices on top quality tires. When checking the DOT code on the tires they are always newly manufactured tires also. Thank you Simple Tire! I'm a customer for life!

Great tires for snowy and cold wet roads. Tire noise which can be a problem with winter tires is kept to a minimum. Very happy with my purchase of the Cooper Evolution Winter tires for my Chrysler 300. Glad I got 4, feel safer and more in control with one at every corner

Took a chance on these for a 2016 Hyundai Accent. Have had them on for about a month and they have been very good so far. I'm in upstate NY so we get lots of snow. We have a uphill gravel driveway which can be a real challenge, even with snow tires, and impossible without snow tires. Previously I had Michelin x-ice on the car, which were very highly rated on many websites, and they were absolutely terrible in any more than 1" of snow.
These Coopers are in a different league. I bought them because they were the most aggressive looking snow tire in the size I needed. I've had blizzaks on a different car before but the new blizzaks are advertising longer tread life. To me, the only way to get that is fewer sipes and/or a harder compound. So, I bought these Coopers. Only once could I not make it up the driveway so far, and after dropping the PSI down to 25 (was 33) I was able to make it. I think we had about 6" of snow that day. We've had a few bad snowstorms, one of which I had to drive in on the highway on these Coopers, and they never lost their grip.
Yes the Coopers make noise. Yes they feel spongy on dry pavement. Good snow tires are going to do that. We will see how long they last, but as long a I get 2-3 winters, I'd buy them again.

In the past, I have used the best brand name Winter tires, however, the Cooper Evolution Winter tire is without doubt, the best Winter tire I have ever used - (for all the 5-star reasons that I have rated (it) here. The distributor, SimpleTire is also an outstanding company to do business (with).
The Cooper Evolution Winter is a winter tire that is designed for use on coupes, sedans, CUVs, SUVs, and light trucks, and offers drivers good ice traction, better snow performance, and great longevity.
Features & Benefits
Winter tread; should not be used when temperatures are consistently above 45 degrees Fahrenheit
Black sidewall
Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified for use in moderate to severe winter weather conditions.
Can be pinned with TSMI #12 studs, where permitted, for extra traction in severe ice, slush, and snow.
A sawtooth center rib offers wide contact with the road to enhance stability.
Winter brings ice, slush, and snow with it, and these winter elements can make the daily commute more difficult than required. However, winter tires are designed to provide drivers with better traction and performance in cold temperatures. Consider Cooper Tires' Evolution Winter, which can be studded to boost traction and stopping capability on icy roads. A sawtooth center rib increases stability in winter weather conditions, while the sipe design improves grip and traction when driving straight lines. Built with a groove that is specifically designed to boost grip on snow, the Evolution Winter features a Three Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol thanks to its ability to perform in severe snow conditions.
