The Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires receive generally positive reviews for their performance and appearance, with some mixed feedback on specific aspects.
The Cooper Discoverer STT Pro tires are generally well-regarded for their off-road capabilities and aggressive styling. They perform well in various terrains, including mud, rocks, and wet conditions. Many users appreciate the relatively low road noise for a mud terrain tire, though some report increased noise over time. While most reviewers are satisfied with tread life, there are a few instances of premature wear. The tires' performance in snow and ice is mixed, and some users note a decrease in fuel efficiency. Despite these drawbacks, many customers find the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro to be a good balance of off-road performance and on-road manners for their needs.
Positive highlights
Excellent off-road performance in mud, rocks, and sand. Good traction in wet conditions. Relatively quiet for a mud terrain tire. Attractive, aggressive appearance. Decent on-road handling and stability. Good tread life for many users.
Negative highlights
Some users experienced premature wear or cupping. Reduced fuel efficiency due to tire weight. Mixed performance in snow and ice conditions. Some complaints about price.

Off Road Use
I use these on my heavily modified Jeep JK Rubicon for off roading, I'll take it on the pavement if I have to, but basically my Jeep is 90% off road. Great all around tire, does well rock crawling or mud holes. They do 'harden up' in colder weather, so a bit less bite in the winter than summer on rocks. On road, they have some noise, but these are large tires with aggressive tread, so i don't expect them to be 'touring tire' quiet.

Cooper STT Pro
Best all around mud/snow tire in my opinion. I run them year round on pavement, mud, rocks, dirt roads, and of course in the winter. They do great in all conditions and especially ice which is not common for a mud type tire. They do wear out quickly. I get around 18-20k on them. They are on a 2017 f250 with a gas motor and this is my 5th set on it.

Be careful with simple tire
So I ordered the coopers recently as I have always had pretty good experiences with them. I recently had a blowout so had to go ahead and put these tires on. The tire shop pointed out some damage to a sidewall but I had no other choice but to install them. I have about 100 miles on them now with no problems but not to say I won't have problems. Plus for the cost of these in a 35x12.50R20 is outrageous for what I recieved. So far so good but hope it doesn't cause a blowout. Simple tire is no help either nor do they care about their customers. Your just a number to them

Didn't last 9 months
Bought these in Feb 2023 and its now Nov 2023 and I have to replace them. Took a 5k mile road trip from MS to UT/CO and that trip destroyed these tires. 5k miles of pavement should not have worn them down so quick to the point of where they are at past the treadwear markings. I've put maybe 10k miles on them total. I've had cheap tires last longer than these and these were almost $400 a piece.
