Luxury ride
20" extra load (XL) sidewall SRX's mounted on a 2020 Suburban - just completed a 3,500 mile road trip traveling in varying weather conditions - these tires provide a superb ride. Great handling, especially at high speed, quiet, minimal roll and confident control in wet conditions. This is my second set of SRX's, the first being mounted on a 2013 Chevy Suburban so I can also attest to the great tread wear characteristics of the tire.
These skins are well worth the price!

This is the second set I got for my SRX.
I liked them so much the first time I got them when the other wore out, I don't recall how many miles I drove on them but they lasted a long time.

Not going back
I switched to Cooper tires about 15 years ago. Being a service manager at several auto repair facilities, I have tried several brands. I find Cooper the best!!

Only had these for a little while and one month after having them installed we got hit with a 26" snowfall. We live on a mountain and our driveway is pretty steep and my wife was able to drive up and out of our unplowed driveway and down the mountain road which wasn't plowed either with no problems at all. We have them on a 2017 Nissan murano.

Barely got 30k out of the tires. Rotated every 5k miles.

3D Micro-Gauge sipes improve stability and traction on wet roads
Reliability over long distances is one of the main reasons for customers to choose SUVs or CUVs, so the tires fitted on them must have the same quality. Fortunately, the Cooper Discoverer SRX is a tire that provides reliable all-season performance and is suitable for touring purposes. The tire features Wear Square Indicators for seeing how far the tire will last and is built using a special rubber compound that decreases rolling resistance to enhance the fuel economy and extend service life. While the patented StabiliEdge Performance Technology in the center of the tread improves stability and handling on dry roads, the additional biting edges enhance stability and control in wet conditions. Additionally, the tire is suitable for use on vehicles like the Mercedes-Benz GLE450, Kia Telluride, Honda CR-V, Jeep Cherokee, and more.
Cooper Discoverer SRX tires could be made at one of Cooper's US-based facilities in Tupelo, MS, Texarkana, AR, or Findlay, OH. That being said, some Discoverer SRX tires could also be produced in China, Mexico, England, and other parts of the world.
Yes, Cooper Discoverer SRX tires are good for use on CUVs and SUVs. They offer improved ride comfort and a noise-free driving experience. The all-season tread pattern of these tires assures year-round traction and performance.
Cooper Discoverer SRX tires are typically made by Cooper Tire and Rubber Company, headquartered in Findlay, Ohio. Cooper is owned by tire giant Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.
No, Cooper Discoverer SRX tires are not noisy. They feature an optimized tread pattern with variable pitch sequencing to control the noise frequencies and offer pleasing noise-free rides.
No, Cooper Discoverer SRX tires are not directional. They feature an asymmetrical tread pattern for improved year-round performance, stability, and ride comfort. The asymmetrical tread pattern of Discoverer SRX tires also allows them to be freely rotated to prevent irregular wear.
Yes, Cooper Discoverer SRX tires can be used in light winter conditions as they come with an all-season tread compound. The advanced siping technology and four wide circumferential grooves improve traction and grip in wet and light winter weather conditions. That being said, these tires are not made for use in moderate and severe winter weather conditions as they aren't Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified.
Cooper Discoverer SRX tires are designed for use on CUVs and SUVs.
Cooper Discoverer SRX tires are backed by a 75,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for T- and S-rated sizes, 70,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for H-rated sizes, and 65,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for V-rated sizes. This means the Discoverer SRX could last 65,000, 70,000, or 75,000 miles, depending on the tire's speed rating, assuming proper use, maintenance, and rotation are followed.
