I have always used R265, R273 and R250 tires with outstanding results in all matters of performance and wear, this R238 is a step up from all of the prior designs in every category so far, I cannot speak for wear (yet hence the 3) or winter traction (I live in Fla) but as an all position closed shoulder highway tread it is the tire I've been waiting for. As a retired heavy haul driver I grew to really appreciate the finer points of quality tires during my working days, to find a tire that mimics the design and characteristics of what we used on the big trucks is a gift, for the price they are a bargain for what they deliver. Soon, all of my trucks (5) will be fitted with Bridgestone R238 tires, purchased of course through Simple Tire which never disappoints, buy with confidence!

make sure you drive with 60mph before you get this tire ,blow up 6 dual in two months before i understand why. too expensive for the performance you get from them
Probably the smoothest riding tire I have ever had. Excellent in wet and dry applications. Great for hauling!
These tires are not good. Installed them on a number of our spread axle drop decks. The compound is to soft so that the tread will separate from the tire just doing normal turns. Also had many big chunks of tread come of the tire from normal use witch made the tire useless sometimes within 10,000 miles.
