The Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT tires receive mixed reviews, with many customers praising their performance and others expressing concerns about durability and comfort.
The Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT tires offer strong performance in various weather conditions and provide the safety benefits of run-flat technology. However, the higher cost, potential for premature wear, and firmer ride associated with run-flat design may not suit all drivers. Overall, these tires seem best suited for those prioritizing performance and safety over comfort and cost.
Positive highlights
Excellent grip in dry and wet conditions. Good handling and cornering stability. Quiet ride for run-flat tires. Long-lasting tread life for many users. Improved fuel efficiency for some drivers.
Negative highlights
Run-flat technology can result in a firmer ride. Higher price point compared to non-run-flat options. Reports of rapid wear on certain vehicles.

Both the most expensive and the worst tire I've owned. What they don't tell you about RFT is that it will get you to the tire shop without changing tires if it goes flat, but the drive destroys the inside of the tire. This happened with a nail. Second tire had sidewall rupture at normal highway speed. Happened again 2,000 miles later on the replacement. This issue is all over the BMW forums. Don't buy this tire.

Nice tires. Put them on my Ford Fusion, and they look nice. Can't go wrong with Bridgestones. They ride smooth and the ride noise is low. Will recommend to another person.
Designed for high-end sports sedans and crossovers, the Bridgestone Potenza S001 RFT features a silica-enhanced tread formulation for summer traction and long wear, water evacuating grooves to resist hydroplaning, and a tread pattern that's computer-tuned to keep road noise to a minimum. What's more, the Potenza S001 RFT features run-flat technology, enabling a driver to safely keep going for up to 50 miles at speeds of 50 MPH or less, even in the event of tire failure.
