The Bridgestone Ecopia EP500 tires receive mixed reviews, with a majority of customers expressing satisfaction with their performance and value.
The Bridgestone Ecopia EP500 tires generally perform well for their intended use on vehicles like the BMW i3. While most users are satisfied with their grip, road holding, and overall performance, there are some concerns about wet weather performance and longevity. The tires seem to offer good value, especially when purchased during sales, but potential buyers should be aware of their limitations in extreme weather conditions.
Positive highlights
Good overall performance in various weather conditions, including wet and semi-icy roads. Excellent grip and road holding, especially considering their narrow width. Improved ride quality compared to older tires. Quieter than previous versions. Good value for money, especially during sales.
Negative highlights
Some users report poor performance in wet conditions. A few customers experienced rapid wear, with one claiming they don't last beyond 2500 miles. Limited tread depth noted by some users. Poor performance in winter conditions (though not designed as winter tires). Complaints about thin sidewalls and zero grip from a minority of users.

Stay away from these tires. They don't last beyond 2500 miles. It's a rip off.

Great service, price and delivery from this company. Really the best deal of any. Free shipping, no tax and delivery in just a couple days. I was impressed also with delivery guy who called me to see where I wanted to tires (upstairs, or, as I asked, down by my car). Got a super price, probably on a sale, that is now a little higher, and they threw in free road hazard. I love this company! Will definitely order from them in further for my BMW i3. John

Finally replaced my original set of tires on my 2014 i3 with just over 27,000 miles. New tires make a big difference in ride quality. I couldn't wait any longer since treads when down to nearly nothing near the sidewall on front passenger tire.

Bridgestone's Ecopia EP500 is the Original Equipment tire on BMW's i3, and for good reason; the Ecopia EP500 offers low rolling resistance thanks to its tread design and ologic technology in the tread formulation. The Ecopia EP500 is designed for strong year-round traction and great handling thanks to its tread design and enhanced contact patch area.
