The Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 tires receive mixed reviews, with many customers praising their performance and longevity, while others express concerns about specific aspects.
The Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 tires generally perform well for on-road use, offering good grip, longevity, and a comfortable ride for many users. However, they may not be suitable for off-road driving, and some customers experience issues with noise and premature wear. Overall, they seem to be a reliable choice for daily drivers who primarily use their vehicles on paved roads.
Positive highlights
Great value for the price. Long-lasting tread life, with some reporting up to 50,000 miles. Excellent grip in various weather conditions, including bad weather. Smooth ride quality, described as "floating on a cloud". Good performance for daily commutes and occasional spirited driving. Suitable for vehicles without spare tires due to run-flat capability.
Negative highlights
One user reported premature wear, with tires worn out at 27,000 miles. Poor traction in off-road conditions (riverbeds, silt, dirt roads). Some users feel the price is too high.

Great tires in all cases and very comfortable
These tires originally came on the x5 when I bought it in 2008 and they haven't disappointed since, they last approximately 50k miles and feel perfect for my daily commute and occasional spirited rides. They grip really well in all weather and give a great sense of security in very bad weather. I have just over 160k miles on the x5 now and she hasn't seen anything but these Duelers! Two thumbs up

The noise is too loud and other than that it's good ride. In Florida we dont have winter so no point of me rating it. Lol. The tires is good just the noise. Price need to be cut. If it wasnt for the noise then the price is reasonable.

I currently have 27000 miles on my Subaru Forester XT and these tires are worn out!! 300 wear rating! Comon! I guess the compound is just too soft. It is a quick wearing great street tire but has terrible traction in any off road condition like riverbeds, silt, dirt roads, etc.. So many better options for the price and some are even less expensive. I would NOT recommend these tires to anyone unless you are just driving your SUV on the street and wet roads. Maybe light snow if they are relatively new. At about 18000 to 20000 miles the traction on anything but asphalt was gone! I will say these tires are strong and well built but otherwise no way, just too slippery too soon and tread life is marginal.
