I love these tires on my Honda HRV. I keep traction and control during emergency maneuvers during NW Montana winter driving. Great on snow and ice. A touch noisy but I happily trade that for the better snow tire any day. I have had studded tires before and all weather's. These tires are my dedicated winter tires and have set the bar high. They are now the only snow tire I will purchase for future snow tire needs. The tread life is well worth the price of the tire as well, granted I don't put them on untill the weather sets in, or is due to come. I have no need for studs on my vehicle so these tires are perfect for my every day driving needs and long distance driving as well during winter.
The Bridgestone Blizzak LT is a winter tire that's designed for use on commercial light trucks and vans, and offers drivers tremendous snow and ice performance, longer tread life, and confident stability and braking in deep snow.

Optimized tread design and rubber compound reduce rolling resistance for better fuel efficiency
Rubber compounds in winter tires are specially optimized to keep tires flexible in cold conditions when the temperature is below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. This is because it enhances the tire's ability to perform on snow- or ice-covered roads. Most drivers look for such tires for confident driving during winter, and fortunately, the Bridgestone Blizzak LT features a rugged LT compound to ensure the same, while also providing great traction and performance. The zigzag grooves and straight outer grooves of Blizzak LT remove water and slush from the road to prevent hydroplaning. Handling becomes easier thanks to tied shoulder lugs, a high tread depth, and a symmetrical tread pattern. The tire is engineered for heavy-duty performance in winter and features a 10-ply rating that enables it to withstand heavy load capacities without losing performance or shape. The tread pattern, construction, and compound of the Blizzak LT collectively contribute to reducing rolling resistance for increased fuel efficiency. Additionally, its tread design and compound are also tuned to absorb road vibrations for more comfortable rides and reduce the tread noise levels to deliver a quieter and more pleasant driving experience.
